Extra Life is a fundraising program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®. The Extra Life community raises money year-round to Change Kids' Health and Change the Future. Donations go to member children's hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.
Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised over $100 million to Change Kids' Health to Change the Future. Right now, children's hospitals need your support.
Why Do I Extra-Life?
As a father, a PopPop (Grandfather), and a Santa portrayer, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible joy that children bring into our lives. This is why I am deeply committed to supporting them.
I'm also a passionate gamer who loves to play video games. When I discovered the Extra-Life organization thirteen years ago, I was inspired to join and dedicate a whole day to playing video games guilt-free.
Your donation, regardless of the amount, will have a profound impact on the lives of these children. I would be honored if you could contribute whatever you can afford.

My Story
Ho! Ho! Ho! Greetings to you all. My name is Robert King, aka Bob, aka Santa Bob, aka Wolfgora, aka Santa of the Magic Valley. According to my Twitch streaming account, I am now Santa4ACause.
Why Santa4ACause? I am a professional real bearded Santa portrayer. I love to see the smiling wonderment on a child's face as they catch sight of Santa at any time of the year. I also love to help children of all ages in need and do what I can to help with charity organizations. I have sought to do this more often over the past few years. Due to COVID and some other health problems, I have not been physically able to portray Santa.
In the past, I have asked for donations for Stand Up 2 Cancer. Thanks to some wonderful people out there, I achieved my goal! Your contributions have made a significant difference in the fight against cancer. You can find more information about them at their website here: https://standuptocancer.org/
I have a few good reasons to do what I can to battle cancer. Three wonderful people who influenced my life were victims of this horrible disease. All three held a special place in my heart, and their loss has fueled my determination to fight against cancer.
The first person I lost was my dear, lovely mother, Evelyn. She was taken from us at an early age, just 59 years old. I am the middle child and her only son; she used to call me her bouncing baby boy. She was always the first person I'd call if I needed someone to talk to. So many memories of her still.
The second person taken from me was her sister and my wonderful aunt Wanda. She has been gone since the year 2000. She was the second person I would call if Mom were not available.
The third person was a wonderful uncle. My uncle Jim passed away from cancer in 2020. He was like a big brother to me. He lived with us up north in the suburbs of Chicago. I can't remember if I existed yet; if so, I was very young. I went to the same high school he graduated from. When he moved back to Tennessee, a lot of his friends always thought I was him, and they wondered how he stayed so young.
These three, my dear mother Evelyn, my wonderful aunt Wanda, and my uncle Jim, are deeply missed in my family's lives. Their loss to cancer has left a void that can never be filled.
